Frankfurt Christmas Market
The Frankfurt Christmas Market is simply great. It takes place from 25 November until 24 December. Go there one day. It is one of the most impressing Christmas markets in Germany. You will see amazing stand decorations and very nice surroundings. It will be an unforgetable experience for you.
Go to the Römerberg plaza, buy some christmas presents and see the largest Christmas tree you have ever seen. And don't miss the Alte Nikolaikirche. (old church from 1290)
Try the barbecued sausages, waffles and potato pancakes and the famous german Glühwein. It can get very cold so make sure you wear warm clothes.
There will be lots of people so don't lose your kids.
The Christmas market sells gifts and goodies for Christmas Eve. Afterwards no one buys Christmas decorations any more. For that reason the christmas markets terminate on December 22 or 23. But some cities keep the markets open beyond the holidays for tourists and Glühwein drinkers.
